    RFID Technologies Overview (TE60-11-0)

SynopsisRFID has become one of the most talked about technologies in the market today. Leading retailers and their consumer goods supplier trading partners are beginning limited use of RFID systems in their operations and are announcing plans for expansion. Despite the promise that the technology holds, limitations with the initial RFID implementations have made the experiences to-date mixed.

This one-day course provides a basic overview of RFID technology for those who want to understand the language, concepts and mandates involved with RFID technology, and the necessary background to the implementation of an RFID system including knowledge of RF communication; RFID hardware functions; installation and configuration including interrogators, antennas, printers/encoders, and other ancillary devices; RFID tags; connectivity, networking; and automatic data collection technologies.

    Course Highlight

This course will help corporate managers, supply chain managers, IT specialists, equipment engineers, and anyone who needs to know what RFID is all about and some implementation details.
